Autumn is here, and Tartu is buzzing with activity. So many new faces. But how do we turn those encounters into meaningful new connections?

At the exhibition “Feather & Your Hat!”, meeting others begins with play, creativity, and imagination. Monster Chetwynd’s colorful world offers a chance to briefly forget about everything outside the exhibition doors. Everyday roles and responsibilities are set aside, and the main question becomes: who would I like to be in my dreams?

At the heart of the exhibition is a giant hat shop, where you can create your own unique headpiece, step onto the stage, and let your imagination run wild.

Throughout the evening, alongside making things, there will also be opportunities to discuss some intriguing questions. The usual ones, such as “What do you do?” and “What are you studying?”, are off the table. Of course, you can still ask them if you want to. But we’ll focus on questions that make us laugh, think, and surprise ourselves.

Together, we’ll create, play with identities, invent stories for the characters we come up with, and discover just how easy it can be to strike up a conversation with strangers.

There will be a DJ, the bar will be open, and the whole evening will unfold at a relaxed, unhurried pace. No awkward introduction circles and no forced socializing – just an opportunity to meet new people in a creative and playful setting.
